Exhibitors from the beauty, fashion, health, home décor, jewelry professions and more can be found at The Lakeland Center this weekend. Stroll aisle after aisle of vendors with only one thing in mind…you! Stop for a massage at one of the fabulous spas or have a quick makeover! Stop in at Picassoz Art Cafe and create your own one-of-a-kind glass necklace, or try on a new hair style at Vickie Lynn's Salon. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find it at the show!

Cooking Demonstrations

Did Julie & Julia inspire you? Oui? Then join us on the cooking stage each day as local chefs showcase their cooking skills and prepare their special recipes just for you. Savory main courses, decadent desserts and other fabulous food will be prepared on Saturday and Sunday. Find that special recipe just in time for Valentine’s Day! Chef Larry from Chalet Suzanne in Lake Wales will share some of his favorite recipes; Harry's Seafood Bar & Grill in downtown Lakeland will whip up a cajun dish guaranteed to make your mouth water; Anne's Dumplings will share her secret receipe for delicious comfort food, and Kathy Theissien with Somewhere In Thyme will share her favorite strawberry delicacies just in time for strawberry season!

Shop Till You Drop!

The Women's Show of Central Florida is a shoppers dream come true. Everything from clothes to candles; food to footwear, you'll find it here. Stop by 360 Unlimited for amazing vintage clothes and decor; find beautiful jewelry down each aisle; stroll thru the "Paris Market" provided by Vintage Downtown for eclectic home furnishings. If your feet hurt from walking the aisles, stop by the Comfort Zone for some massaging insoles. The first 500 ladies through the door each day will receive a reusable shopping bag compliments of the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority.

Marvelous Makeovers

Join us on Sunday, February 7th at 2:00 as we reveal the winners of the "Marvelous Makeovers" sponsored by Woman to Woman Magazine. 3 lovely ladies were selected for total makeovers compliments of Allure Salon & Spa and Dillards. See the before and afters and applaude these ladies as they share their new look with their friends, family and you!

In the Garden

Are you ready for spring? If so, stroll through the beautiful gardening area provided by the City of Lakeland’s Parks Department and Polk County Cooperative Extension Office. All your questions will be answered by professionals who know when, where and what to plant. Master gardeners will be on hand all weekend to help you make your dream garden a reality. One lucky gardener will win a butterfly garden to be installed at their home just in time for spring!

Wedding Bells In the Future?

If you're planning a trip down the aisle anytime soon, The Women’s Show of Central Florida is this place to make your wedding dreams come true! Not only will we showcase beautiful gowns from Jannabelle's on Sunday at 12 noon, we’ll have a panel discussion with the Polk County Bridal Exhibit & Marketplace professionals who will answer all your wedding questions and help you keep your mind and pocketbook in check!

The Catwalk

Join us on the main stage again this year for the most fabulous fashion shows in town. With vintage fashions from Rae’s Retro to our “Poochie Fashion Show” courtesy of the SPCA, we’ll have something for everyone. Brides will swoon over the amazing gowns from Janabelle’s Bridal Salon. Girl’s Inc. of Lakeland will be on hand with fashions for the youngest ladies in the audience and “What’s New” Consignment will be back with their exquisite collection of pre-loved designer clothes. Catherine's Plus Size will kick off Sunday's show with their new spring line and Dillard's will present their amazing spring designs in the afternoon. Check back often for additional runway details.

Educational Seminars

Social networking...cosmetic surgery...good mental health....wedding planning....they all go together right? These are just a few of the educational seminars you can attend over the weekend. Experts in these fields will be on hand to answer your questions and help you make the right decisions. Please check the show schedule page for days and times.

Women's Health

The Walgreens Wellness Tour Bus will be at The Women's Show of Central Florida offering free Health Screenings for the following:

*Total Cholesteral

*Blood Pressure

*Bone Density

*Glucose Levels

*Waist Circumference

*Body Composition & Body Mass Index

The Walgreens staff will give these screenings on Saturday & Sunday from 10:00AM-5:00PM daily at the show. Show ticket purchase is required.

Entertainment

The main stage will be the site of some great entertainment during the weekend. Enjoy the sounds of Don Jeceum, “Tampa Bay’s Frank Sinatra” as he joins us again to serenade you and emcee the weekend’s activities.
